Arlen Specter’s Sad, Bitter, Goodbye Speech, Reeks of Arrogance
22 Dec 2010 12:18 am
Today Arlen Specter said goodbye to the Senate, and in doing so he showed himself to be a bitter, defeated old man. I suppose such is the fate of political opportunists. Ironically he devoted part of his speech to bashing the “right wing” voters who seek to back candidates whose Conservatism was pure. Specter’s career was all about the exact opposite of ideological purity. Specter is the guy who changed political parties twice, in order to save his political career.
Its very interesting to watch the nine-year-old …View More...
December 16, 1773 The Tea Party Was Born in Boston Harbor
16 Dec 2010 8:21 am
Two-hundred and thirty-seven years ago today a team of colonists wearing Indian Costumes went on to ships docked in Boston Harbor to show the British that they were sick and tired of oppressive taxes. Two-hundred and thirty-five years later the colonies were now a country, and Americans picked up the mantle of those brave colonists to once again protest oppressive taxation.
We tell the story of the original tea party not only as a tribute but because many of us owe our reborn political involvement …
Joe Miller is Dead, Will Someone Tell Him To Lie Down?
14 Dec 2010 10:52 pm
Will somebody tell Joe Miller to lie down already, is election effort is dead as a doornail? At this point in time, his continuing efforts to get a judge to side with him is as sad as Willie Mays’ feeble effort with the New York Mets in 1973, every time you see it you just want to cringe. What’s even worse is if Miller wins his suit and the judge counts takes away the 8+ thousand disputed Murkowski ballots he will still lose by around 2 thousand votes.
The Alaska Senate …
WikiLeaks Bombshell: Cuba To Be Bankrupt in 2-3 Years
10 Dec 2010 7:35 pm
The warnings were all there. Just sixteen months ago we learned that Cuba was running out of one of the most important and basic family commodities. The Communist dictatorship, in the grip of a serious economic crisis, was running short of toilet paper and couldn’t get sufficient supplies until the end of the year. Now via the latest WikiLeaks release we are learning that Cuba’s economic situation has really sunk into the sewer, and predictions are that they will be insolvent in 2-3 years.

San Fransisco Fed. Says Stimulus Was A Huge Waste
7 Dec 2010 6:37 pm
According to recovery.gov, the President’s website designed to track the stimulus plan, the $800 Billion plus porkulous bill passed in February 2009 is responsible for 3,348,813 jobs. According to a new analysis conducted by the San Fransisco office of the Federal Reserve, the president’s projection is off by only 3,348,813 jobs. That’s correct The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 created exactly zero permanent jobs.
Those of us who are still unemployed or even those who simply watch the unemployment numbers know …
Government Wasted $3.2 Million on Misleading Andy Griffith Obamacare Ads
1 Dec 2010 11:24 pm
Do you remember the good old days when $3.2 million was a lot of money? To the Obama administration it must be a drop in the bucket because that’s what they spent on those silly television ads where Andy Griffith is pimping Obamacare. Judicial Watch reported this morning that today that it has obtained documents from the Obama Department of Health and Human Services (embedded below) regarding the costs of the three Medicare television advertisements featuring actor Andy Griffith.
In the middle of a deep recession, when taxpayers have …
TAKE THAT MENORAH AWAY FROM THE CHRISTMAS TREE ! (It’s that Stupid, Politically Correct Holiday Season Again)
30 Nov 2010 8:35 pm
Tomorrow night is the first night of Hanukkah, Chanukah and/or Hannuka ,the Jewish holiday that is spelled a hundred ways in English. Along with the joy of the holiday is the sadness that this minor holiday is continually hijacked by the ACLU and other liberal groups who have no idea what the holiday means.
It happens every year at this time: the battles of political correctness. When a community puts up a Christmas tree, one of two things happens. Either there is a battle to take it down, or someone fights …
Is China About To Throw N. Korea Under The Bus?
29 Nov 2010 11:15 pm
Finally a Wikileaks document that surprising. According to some of the leaked State Department documents, China is growing increasingly frustrated by the military antics of North Korea and and increasingly favors reunified Korea under the Government of South Korea.
Now that it has become a world power, the Chinese government wants one thing more than anything else, stability. In recent months North Korea has grown increasingly unpredictable, attacking a South Korean military ship, surprising the world with a brand new nuclear plant, and last week’s mortar attack on the South has …
ADL is Showing its Progressive “Junk” Again, Issues Statement Supporting START
22 Nov 2010 8:20 pm
I am of the opinion that the START treaty is bad for America. Among other reasons because it takes what is an American advantage in weaponry and gives it away, something that no other country in the history of the world has ever done successfully. As John Podhoretz said last week, the proposed treaty creates “a parallelism between American strength and Russian strength that is a very, very bad precedent in terms of how we ourselves think about American power.”
But putting aside these and …
The Progressives’ “Nazi” Rhetoric Begins With George Soros
18 Nov 2010 8:14 pm
Media Matters, a George Soros propaganda organization masquerading as a media watchdog is exhibiting its hypocrisy again today. In an article called Fox’s “Nazi” rhetoric also comes straight from the top, they took a comment by Fox News head Roger Ailes and used it as a starting point to attack almost every commentator on the Fox News Network
In a recent interview, Fox News chairman Roger Ailes referred to National Public Radio executives as “Nazis” with a “Nazi attitude,” and claimed “[t]hey are the left wing of Nazism.” Ailes’ employees at …
US Government “Crapped Away” $125 BILLION in 2010 Via Improper Payments
17 Nov 2010 1:34 am
Many people scoff when a candidate proposes cutting fraud and waste as an element of trimming the Federal budget, but here is a perfect example of how cutting fraud and waste will actually make a dent. It is also an example of how the government still doesn’t get it.
During the fiscal year just ended, improper payments made by Uncle Sam (checks sent in error, disbursed to the wrong person, or obtained through fraud) reached $125 Billion dollars. And here’s the best part, the government is bragging about it. This is …
Charlie Rangel Decides To Waste Our Money Instead of Stealing It
15 Nov 2010 1:00 pm
Charlie Rangel has decided to change his tactics. Usually he finds a way to steal tax payer money, like giving earmarks to a school named in his honor, or neglecting to pay his taxes, or live in four rent-controlled apartments even though based on his income he probably doesn’t even warrant one.
Today different, today Charlie Rangel decided to waste our money. Six months ago Rangel could have admitted his wrong-doing, get a minor slap on the wrist and gone his merry way into the 112th congress, but Charlie refused to …
Maxine Waters Caught in Brand New Scandal
8 Nov 2010 11:10 pm
Maxine Waters may be facing new ethics charges, at the very least she has gotten involved with something that smell a bit on the “crooked side. According to a report in the Washington Times, a powerful lobbying form paid Waters’ banker husband $15,000 in “consulting fees” at the very same time Ms Waters co-sponsored a law designed to help that lobbyist’s top clients. Even worse, the IRS has taken a look at that lobbyist’s clients business and determined those kind of businesses were “scams. ” So Waters bill …View More...
The Fed’s $600 Billion Dollar Plan For Economic Suicide
5 Nov 2010 8:54 am
Its called quantitative easing, which is just banker talk for devaluing the a currency. Today the Fed is about to work some “black magic.” They are going to create $600 billion dollars out of nothing. It absolutely no different than a corporation vowing to improve its fiscal performance simply by printing a lot of new shares.
This is how it works:
Usually, central banks try to raise the amount of lending and activity in the economy indirectly, by cutting interest rates. Lower interest rates encourage people to spend, not save. …
The President’s Presser Proves He Just Doesn’t Get It !!!
4 Nov 2010 7:45 am
On Election Day the American People sent Barack Obama a message, unfortunately he wasn’t listening. During his pres conference yesterday, he looked contrite (actually he looked as if he was passing a kidney stone), clearly he indicated either he didn’t hear, didn’t have a clue, or didn’t care what the voters were trying to tell him.
During his post-election presser the POTUS said the country had made progress over the past two years. But, “Clearly, too many Americans have not felt that progress. Yesterday, they told us that.”As …
A Warning To The GOP, Voters Don’t Love You As Much as They Hate The Dems
1 Nov 2010 1:55 pm
Approximately 40-48 hours from now, the results of the 2010 Mid-Term election will be clear. The Republican party will have near historic gains in the house and may very well win control of the Senate. The size of this political tsunami poses a great danger to the GOP, they may very well misinterpret their victory tomorrow just as much as the Democratic Progressives misinterpreted their victory in 2008.
The Democratic party win two years ago had as much to do with voter “anger” as this years vote. Probably the thing that …
Aqua Budda Says Its Time For My Election Predictions, So Here Goes
31 Oct 2010 9:54 pm
OK its time, because thinks have been so close and so fluid, I have yet to make my final prediction for the 2010 mid term election. But last night it all came to me in a dream, one of the key players of this election season, Aqua Budda was hovering over my bed telling me “its time Jeff, you need to man up.”
Maybe Aqua is correct, but on the other side, it is much too cold to go into the water, but either way below are my predictions for the …
Two New Crimes Made in the Name of Alan Grayson
30 Oct 2010 1:41 pm
Now I am not saying any of this happened because Alan Grayson is one of the slimiest people in congress. Nor am I implying that it happened because Grayson’s campaign manager, Suzannah Randolph, is a former ACORN lobbyist and political director, in fact the campaign denies that it had anything to do with them, but today there were two dirty tricks revealed to be happening in Florida’s 8th Congressional District, along with being sleazy both incidents were illegal.
A mysterious and illegal mailer has hit voters’ mailboxes in the 8th congressional …
Saudi Prince Alwaleed Says “Move the Ground Zero Mosque”
28 Oct 2010 6:32 pm
Saudi Prince Alwaleed us usually an apologist for Islamist terrorism. Following the World Trade Center attacks, New York mayor Rudy Giuliani turned down a $10 million donation from Alwaleed for disaster relief after the prince suggested the United States “must address some of the issues that led to such a criminal attack,” and “re-examine its policies in the Middle East.” A year later Al-Waleed donated $27 million to the families of Palestinians during a TV telethon following Israeli operations in the West Bank city of Jenin. The telethon was ordered …View More...
