Fighting for the Undecided Voters…Evidently,They Exist
  23 Oct 2012     12:05 pm

This past week, while riding the bus with other conservative bloggers and podcasters on the way to the FreedomWorks event, FreePAC, in Orlando, Florida, I was reminded the elusive “undecided” voter actually still exists.
At this late stage in the campaigns I assumed most people already know for whom they will be voting in the upcoming Presidential election. As a matter of fact, I can’t imagine anyone not knowing by this point.
I recently heavily criticized the “undecided voters” who presented the questions at the candidate’s second debate.  I wrote them off …

Equipping the ‘Freedom Fighters’ at #FreePACOhio
  15 Sep 2012     7:14 pm

Certain states hold extensive political clout since their large population allots them a high number of Electoral College votes.  California has the most with 55 votes. You can add the fact that California will go Democratic to the end of the list of the other two certainties, death and taxes.
Frankly, they can keep California.  If the residents like the way things are going in California enough to keep voting the way they do, then so be it.  And they can fully expect more of the same.
Texas is the second largest …

Where is the Missing Media Outrage Over President Obama?
  27 Aug 2012     11:17 am

I was reminded today, during the Bush presidency, there was a daily tracking of both the deaths of US troops serving in the war and rising gas prices.  The media was outraged over it.  The people were as well.
Where is the outrage now?
Two U.S. troops were killed in eastern Afghanistan today by hostile small arms fire.  Their names have not yet been released.  Have you heard of this?
Five days ago, Sergeant Louis R. Torres, only 23 years old, was killed in Kandahar by an IED attack.  Have you heard of …

Senate Dems Want to Decide What You Should Be When You Grow Up
  9 Aug 2012     12:56 pm

I hate to tell you I told you so, but I told you so.  For years I’ve preached, he who controls the money, controls the choices.  Entitlement comes at a very high price, typically at a loss of freedom.
Senate Democrats have now proposed the Protecting Students from Worthless Degrees Act intended to grant the Government the power to approve or disapprove of which majors and courses along with which schools you will be allowed to choose when you receive a Federal Student Loan or Grant.
One co-sponsor of the bill, U.S. …

Senate Hopeful Mourdock Offers ‘Simple’ Economic Solutions but Not ‘Easy’ Ones
  30 Jul 2012     12:11 pm

In an interview this past week at the Freedom Works event FreePAC, I had the opportunity to ask Indiana Senate hopeful Richard Mourdock his thoughts on the best way for Congress to promote real economic solutions.  The Indiana State Treasurer was a featured speaker at the event that boasted over 14,000 attendees.
Mourdock said the solutions really aren’t that hard.  And quoting the great Ronald Reagan he commented, “There are always simple solutions, but there are never easy solutions.”  With the release of the second quarter reports and only a dismal 1.5% growth …

Freedom Works Event Proves Tea-Party Alive and Well
  28 Jul 2012     4:53 pm

Like a tree falling in the forest, if the Tea Party gathered together for a massive event would the main stream media hear it?  They may not report on it, but they definitely heard it.
Over 14,000 Tea Party supporters rallied together in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX this week to attend the Freedom Works event FreePAC.  Hosted by Freedom Works President and CEO, Matt Kibbe, the stellar line-up of conservative talent included Dana Loesch, Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck, Stephen Kruiser, C.L. Bryant and more.
Senators Jim DeMint, Rand Paul …

Appeasing the American Loudmouth
  8 Jul 2012     12:01 am

Have you ever noticed a little kid throwing a huge fit in the grocery store check-out line as they run the candy bar gauntlet strategically set at 3-year old eye-level?  That kid is the one who is left happy and twitching from a sugar high after his milk chocolate meltdown.
The squeaky wheel really does get the grease and/or chocolate.
I have the utmost respect for the parent who lets the little kid go into a full-on bath salt craze in the middle of the store.  The last thing that parent is …

Ask Not What Obama Can Do for You in His Campaign…
  25 Jun 2012     11:22 am

With some degree of certainty, the Obama campaign may adopt this title as a slogan and begin printing t-shirts along with printing money.  I don’t believe he has a problem with either one.
Welcome to the Obama campaign’s audacity of arrogance tour.
One of the founding principles of good leadership is never ask someone to do for you what you’re not willing to do yourself. That doesn’t apply here.
This past week Obama managed his 100th round of golf.  Last year the New York Post reported Obama wraps up his work day typically …
