Yesterday The United Nations, Today The Democrats

Yesterday The United Nations, Today The Democrats: Yesterday GWB laid it on the line to the United Nations. Either they make Iraq tow the line or the United States will do it even if we have to go it alone.

Today, George W. Bush decided to call out the Democrats....

"Mr. Bush Friday also made clear his annoyance at Congressional Democrats who say they want to wait until after the UN acts before enacting a resolution authorizing possible military action against Iraq.

"Democrats waiting for the U.N. to act?" he asked with a chuckle. "If I were running for office, I'm not sure how I'd explain to the American people -- say, vote for me, and, oh, by the way, on a matter of national security, I think I'm going to wait for somebody else to act."

Mr. Bush added, "It seems like to me that if you're representing the United States you ought to be making a decision on what's best for the United States."

The message in so many words? George Bush is standing up for America, no matter what anybody else thinks. On the other hand, the Democrats are cowering in the background waiting to see if the UN will give them permission to defend America. That my friends, is a clear shot across the bow that should let the Democrats know what's coming. Either they give Bush his vote on Iraq before the October recess and make their constituents mad or the Republicans are going to pound them unmercifully for not being serious about the war.

As far as I'm concerned, it's about time that someone called the Democrats on their waffling. Either they're for continuing the 'war on terrorism' in Iraq or they're essentially in favor of giving up. Whatever their intentions are, their constituents have a right to know where their representatives stand on the war before they cast their votes in November.

Time For The First Military Tribunal

Time For The First Military Tribunal: Remember this ugly face?

When last we heard from Ramzi Binalshibh, he was claiming to be the co-ordinator of 9/11. He was also saying that he, "wanted to be one of the hijackers, but was refused a US visa."

Well now Pakistan has Binalshibh in custody.

Furthermore, since he isn't a Pakistani, we should be able to get our hands on him. In my opinion, this is the perfect guy to put in front of a military tribunal. Since he has already admitted his guilt on video tape, we should be able to try him and hang him in short order. Letting the world know that one of the two men who helped plan 9/11 spent the last few moments of his life dancing at the end of a rope sends exactly the right kind of message about what happens when you murder Americans.

Stars Plan Global Peace Song

Stars Plan Global Peace Song: Oh gag....

"Eurythmics star Dave Stewart has teamed up with reggae legend Jimmy Cliff to write a song for global peace. The musicians hope the song, called Peace For One Day, will be played by radio stations across the planet.

The pair has collaborated with British film-maker Jeremy Gilley who wants 21 September to become a global day of ceasefire.

Stewart said: "The idea was to make a song that on 21 September we'll get as many stations around the world to play, and DJs to talk about what it's all about."

I can just hear it now....

"Could all of you American cowboys
stop blowing up all the kids with your violent toys
stop killing all the little children for your filthy war
and holding people at Gitmo in conditions we deplore

You terrorists in al-Queda really aren't so bad
we'd rather see you kill some Americans than get mad
if we could, we'd start killing Americans too
then we'd head to Israel so we could wipe out the Jews

Then the world would be full of peace and love
With the United Nations in charge we'd all be doves
Without the United States there would be no more strife
then Saddam & Osama would start to play nice!

(refrain) We need peace for just one day
to make the United States go away
then all would be right under the sun and moon
and the world would live together in a hippie commune

(refrain) we need peace for one day
to make the United States go away
if we could only kill everyone in the United States
the world would be so great...."

Al-Qaeda Releases New Video Of Bin Laden's Vacation

Al-Qaeda Releases New Video Of Bin Laden's Vacation: RWN has scooped the entire mainstream media by getting pics from the latest Osama Bin Laden video before it was released to the public anywhere else. Although we did think it was a bit suspicious that Bin Laden didn't talk and was a bit...pale. But, you can read this article and look at our new & exclusive Bin Laden pics and then you can make your own call on whether the video is authentic or not...

The 'Chickenhawks' Argument

The 'Chickenhawks' Argument: I can't believe how much ink and web space has been devoted to refuting the whole patently ridiculous idea that you can't advocate attacking Iraq without having been in the military or at least offering to join the military. There are so many things that are obviously wrong with this sort of thinking that I hardly know where to start.

The military may be the experts on how to fight a war, but anyone familiar with hideously conceived "Operation Northwoods" should be willing to concede that the military is not always the best judge of whether and how we should enter a fight. We could also point out that while fighting in our nation's military is certainly dangerous work, it has become significantly less dangerous than it was in previous decades. In fact, we lost more than three times as many of our people on 9/11 as we lost in every military engagement we've fought since 1980. Some people have even pointed out that people who are against the war have an opportunity to go to Iraq and be human shields if they really believe that only those who are going to risk their lives should be able to advocate a position on the war.

Last but not least, I believe that people who say you can't advocate war unless you've been a soldier or intend to be one are inherently hypocritical because they don't apply that concept to anything else. Are these same people refusing to criticize President Bush's decisions because they've never been President? Will they refuse to criticize any action of the police if they've never been a policeman? If THEY have not served in the military, do they feel that they have no right to criticize the actions of those in the military because they've never been in their shoes? If a doctor is accused of medical malpractice, do they think only other doctors are qualified to judge whether he's right or wrong?

This whole "chickenhawk" catcall is a joke and furthermore is an attempt to divert attention away from the fact that there is obviously no way to stop Saddam Hussein from supporting terrorism and building WMD other than by using force. Crying "chickenhawk" is much easier than actually coming up with a solution other than military force that has any hope of working.

Misc Things: I have realized that I've completely and utterly lost track of the people who have been RWN's 'Website of the day.' Therefore, I'm starting the list over again as of today and I'll be keeping up with it this time. I'll still try to focus on newer blogs but don't surprised to see some repeats up there in the coming months as well....

We're Not Going To Have To Go It Alone

We're Not Going To Have To Go It Alone: I'd advocate hitting Iraq whether we had to go it alone or not, but we're gaining more and more allies by the day.

Although I certainly had my doubts for a while, Tony Blair and the Brits are going to come through in the clutch. John Howard and the Aussies are with us too. Spain? They're going to be on board. Israel? They're 'loyal soldier(s)' and they'll be with us until the end.

Across the Middle East, deals are being reached behind the scenes. According to an article on World Net Daily today, the US has deals in the works with, "Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates."

As we get closer to hitting Iraq expect Turkey, France, & Russia among others to also publicly favor a strike on Iraq.

Now a lot of people may not understand why these nations are going to back the US after spending the last few months so publicly disagreeing with us. The truth is that the leaders of these nations would prefer that we NOT hit Iraq. But on the other hand, they know that if we decide to invade Iraq, we're going to succeed.

Do these nations really want to be on the sidelines when Hussein goes down and his people are cheering their liberation in the streets? A lot of these countries have strong financial ties to the current Iraqi regime. Those ties could easily be broken if they're perceived as backing the wrong side in the war. For example, Hussein owes Russia billions of dollars. If Russia doesn't support the war and Hussein is overthrown, you could expect to see the new Iraqi regime declare those debts "invalid" with the behind the scenes support of the United States. But if Russia plays ball, the United States would insist that Russia be paid.

The squawking isn't over yet, but as we get closer and closer to an actual attack, you're going to see a lot of nations change their tunes.

Bush's Speech To The UN On Iraq

Bush's Speech To The UN On Iraq: I think a lot of people are missing an important part of W's speech to the UN today. For example, the general slant coming out of Europe seems to be that Bush is now going for a "multilateral approach", is "support(ing) for the United Nations", and that war can be avoided if Iraq "allow(s) the inspections." I'm not sure if they're just trying to spin Bush's speech for the people back home or if they're just engaging in wishful thinking but anyone who has read Bush's speech today should have no doubt that we're going to war.

To begin with, Bush DID NOT say Iraq could avoid war by allowing inspections. In fact, Bush demanded several things above and beyond inspections. Things that Hussein will NEVER agree to. Here are Bush's quotes directly from the speech...

"If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will immediately and unconditionally forswear, disclose and remove or destroy all weapons of mass destruction, long-range missiles and all related material.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will immediately end all support for terrorism and act to suppress it, as all states are required to do by U.N. Security Council resolutions.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will cease persecution of its civilian population, including Shi'a, Sunnis, Kurds, Turkomans and others - again as required by Security Council resolutions.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will release or account for all Gulf War personnel whose fate is still unknown. It will return the remains of any who are deceased, return stolen property, accept liability for losses resulting from the invasion of Kuwait, and fully cooperate with international efforts to resolve these issues - as required by the Security Council resolutions.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will immediately end all illicit trade outside the oil-for-food program. It will accept U.N. administration of funds from that program, to ensure that he money is used fairly and promptly for the benefit of the Iraqi people."

Saddam Hussein MIGHT allow inspectors in and then play games with them as he did before but there is no way he's going to do all of those other things. It's just not going to happen folks.

Furthermore, at the close of the speech Bush made it clear that if Saddam doesn't comply with all those conditions, the United States is going to take him out whether anyone else goes with us or not...

"We cannot stand by and do nothing while dangers gather. We must stand up for our security, and for the permanent rights and hopes of mankind. By heritage and by choice, the United States of America will make that stand. Delegates to the United Nations, you have the power to make that stand as well"

Today W revealed what a lot of us already knew, the die is cast and we're going to war with Iraq.

Insulting Our Intelligence With Empty Words

Insulting Our Intelligence With Empty Words: Listen to what Kofi Annan had to say today...

"The world must act together against terrorism or put at risk everything the United Nations ( news - web sites) stands for, U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan ( news - web sites) said on Wednesday, a year after the Sept. 11 attacks.

There could be no greater affront to the spirit and purpose of the United Nations than the terrorist attacks of September 11," he told a solemn ceremony marking the anniversary, held in a garden at U.N. headquarters.

"Everything that we work for -- peace, development, health, freedom -- is damaged by this horror. Everything that we believe in -- respect for human life, justice, tolerance, pluralism and democracy -- is threatened by it. It must be defeated -- and it must be defeated by the world acting as one," he said"

That sounds fantastic doesn't it? In fact, Kofi sounds almost like President Bush on the subject doesn't he? Furthermore, he's RIGHT. Moreover, the United States would LOVE nothing more than the, "world acting as one" to defeat terrorism.

Since Kofi is now against terrorism I'll be looking for a few changes at the UN in the near future.

I'm sure that the UN will now begin condemning every Palestinian terrorist attack in the strongest terms while definitively saying that Israel has every right to respond to attacks. Furthermore, I'm sure the UN will do everything in it's power to arrest the terrorists operating out of it's refugee camps in the Middle East instead of turning a blind eye to their attacks on Israelis as it's done in the past. Furthermore, I'm sure Kofi Annan will come out tomorrow and demand that Iraq either submit to inspections and cease supporting terrorists or face military strikes fully supported by the UN. Also, Syria can obviously kiss it's seat on the UN security council goodbye and Gadaffi can expect to be prosecuted by the United Nations Commission on Human Rights instead of being put in charge of it.

Boy I'm really looking forward to seeing the 'new and improved' United Nations that won't tolerate terrorism. That sure will be great won't it? Wait a second...Kofi Annan wouldn't lie to us...would he?

Winston Churchill Addresses A Joint Session Of Congress on December 26, 1941

Winston Churchill Addresses A Joint Session Of Congress on December 26, 1941: Winston Churchill was a titan among men. Before the United States and the Russians got into WW2, only Winston Churchill's leadership and the bravery of Britain's people saved Europe from being pinned under a Nazi boot. Nineteen days after Pearl Harbor, Churchill spoke before Congress to talk of the war that had now engulfed both our nations. The US was mobilizing but the Japanese had struck us a terrible blow at Pearl Harbor and much like today, we were years away from seeing the end of war. This is not one of Churchill's most famous speeches, but it's good and much of it is still relevant to 'war on terrorism' today. Here are a few memorable quotes from the speech...

"...Sure I am that this day - now we are the masters of our fate; that the task which has been set us is not above our strength; that its pangs and toils are not beyond our endurance. As long as we have faith in our cause and an unconquerable will-power, salvation will not be denied us. In the words of the Psalmist, 'He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.' Not all the tidings will be evil."

"...Lastly, if you will forgive me for saying it, to me the best tidings of all is that the United States, united as never before, have drawn the sword for freedom and cast away the scabbard"

"...Many people have been astonished that Japan should in a single day have plunged into war against the United States and the British Empire....They have certainly embarked upon a very considerable undertaking. For after the outrages they have committed upon us at Pearl Harbour, in the Pacific Islands, in the Philippines, in Malaya, and in the Dutch East Indies, they must now know that the stakes for which they have decided to play are mortal....What kind of a people do they think we are? Is it possible they do not realise that we shall never cease to persevere against them until they have been taught a lesson which they and the world will never forget?"

"...Five or six years ago it would have been easy, without shedding a drop of blood, for the United States and Great Britain to have insisted on fulfilment of the disarmament clauses of the treaties which Germany signed after the Great War; that also would have been the opportunity for assuring to German those raw materials which we declared in the Atlantic Charter should not be denied to any nation, victor or vanquished. That chance has passed. It is gone."

Memorials Won't Prevent Another 9/11

Memorials Won't Prevent Another 9/11: One year ago today in an attack unprecedented in the history of humankind, 19 terrorists murdered almost 3000 Americans. There will be many memorials today to the innocent men and women who died on 9/11. The husbands who never came home to their wives, the mothers who never looked into the faces of their children again, and the sons and daughters who were buried by their parents. We'll also remember the heroes, the firefighters and policemen who died trying to save others in the World Trade Center, as well as Todd Beamer and the other passengers on Flight 93. Honoring America's heroes and innocents lost is worth doing. However, the best way we can honor them is not with ceremonies or with television specials, but by doing everything in our power to prevent another 9/11 from happening. That will not be accomplished with tributes, but with action. (Cont)

Lady Liberty In Chains

Lady Liberty In Chains: This poster is just as relevant today as it was in WW2. The terrorists and the regimes that support them today are perhaps even more dangerous than the Nazis and the Japanese in the WW2 because of the rapid spread of WMD. Then we fought against tyranical armies bent on conquest and today we fight against fanatics determined to slaughter millions of American civilians by any means necessary. Continuing to enjoy the freedom and liberty our people have fought and died for since our founding hinges on winning this war...

I Didn't Forget The 9/11 Celebrations

I Didn't Forget The 9/11 Celebrations: I wrote on RWN right after 9/11 that I wouldn't forget about the little street party the Palestinians had on 9/11 to celebrate the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon. Just in case any of you forgot, this should jog your memory.

I think about those celebrations every time someone tells me how sorry they feel for the Palestinians. Never forget, never forgive.

Nelson Mandela Goes Off His Rocker

Nelson Mandela Goes Off His Rocker: Oh boy, Nelson Mandela is losing it. Just listen to some of the nonsense he's spouting in this MSNBC interview...

Then the United States chose to arm and finance the [Islamic] mujahedin in Afghanistan instead of supporting and encouraging the moderate wing of the government of Afghanistan. That is what led to the Taliban in Afghanistan.

This is complete and utter gibberish. By the time the Afghan war started in 1979 there was no such thing as a "moderate wing" in Afghanistan. There were groups of mujahedin fighting a Soviet puppet government. By the time we started sending money into Afghanistan the invasion was already a given / or the invasion had already begun (depending on which story from the Carter administration that you believe.) Furthermore, the claim that our backing of the mujahedin during the Afghan war caused the rise of the Taliban is leftist drivel that's been floating around at least since 9/11. The Taliban came out of Pakistan in 1994 and didn't capture Kabul until 1996. We were out of Afghanistan by 1989.

"If you look at those matters, you will come to the conclusion that the attitude of the United States of America is a threat to world peace. Because what [America] is saying is that if you are afraid of a veto in the Security Council, you can go outside and take action and violate the sovereignty of other countries. That is the message they are sending to the world. That must be condemned in the strongest terms. And you will notice that France, Germany Russia, China are against this decision. It is clearly a decision that is motivated by George W. Bush's desire to please the arms and oil industries in the United States of America."

Oh geeze, he sounds like a member of the lunatic fringe with that, "arms and oil industries" comment. I wonder if he'd have still favored ending apartheid in South Africa if "France, Germany Russia, China" had been opposed to it?

"But what we know is that Israel has weapons of mass destruction. Nobody talks about that. Why should there be one standard for one country, especially because it is black, and another one for another country, Israel, that is white."

Now the whole 'war on terrorism' is just another example of "the man" trying to keep a brother down.

"But people like Dick Cheney... I see yesterday there was an article that said he is the real president of the United States of America, I don't know how true that is."

Oh he saw in an "article"? Well in that case it MUST be true. Especially if it was on the internet. Someone keep him away from Art Bell's page or he'll be wondering how real the "shadow people" are.

I've never really paid a lot of attention to Mandela. Has he always been this dopey or is this a recent development?

Illegal To Defend Yourself In Britain?

Illegal To Defend Yourself In Britain?: It is now officially illegal to defend your own home from criminals in Britain...

"A FATHER-OF-TWO who stabbed a "career criminal" to death with a bread knife after finding him burgling his family's home was found guilty of manslaughter yesterday.

...Hastings, who was remanded in custody to be sentenced next month, faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.

...The prosecution claimed that Hastings had overstepped the mark and "meted out his own form of punishment" when he stabbed Williams 12 times, mostly in the back. Hastings insisted that instinct took over. He believed that he was protecting his children, a boy of four and girl of two, and their mother. He later discovered the family was not at their home in Tottenham, North London.

...Peter Kyte, QC, for the prosecution, told the jury: "The law recognises a man is entitled to defend himself, his family and his property only if his action does not go beyond the reasonable and the necessary.

"There is no doubt Mr Hastings stumbled across a burglary. There is no doubt that Roger Williams was a thoroughly bad hat in the eyes of the law. But, as a human being, he is just as entitled to the freedom to live as anyone else. We argue that, in this case, alas, this man overstepped the mark and went some distance beyond that."

They should be giving this guy a medal for defending himself against a thug who broke into his home, not locking him up. What is Britain coming to when a man is not allowed to defend himself from a burglar in his own home?

The Difference Between The Liberal And Conservative 'Debate' Over The War On Terrorism

The Difference Between The Liberal And Conservative 'Debate' Over The War On Terrorism: After reading this long and rambling editorial about how liberals can't seem to make up their minds about the 'War on Terrorism', I was inspired to write the following analogy that I think sums up the differences between how the left and the right as a whole have responded to this crisis.

Question: You are walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a .357 Magnum and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

Liberal Answer: Well that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the gun out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days to try to come to a conclusion.

Conservative Answer: I shoot him.

To Befriend A Jew, Is To Sign Your Deathwarrent: It's been a while since I headed over to the Stormfront forums to see what the Nazis, skinheads, and white power fanatics were up to. Much to my surprise, the entire forum had completely reformed and had become a model of racial tolerance and harmony...not. Actually, they were the same bunch of racist hatemongers that they always were. While I didn't run across any threads talking about what a fantastic guy Hitler was this time, there was as per usual more racist propaganda than you can shake a stick at. Al-Queda Accidentally Confirms That Bin Laden Is Dead

Al-Queda Accidentally Confirms That Bin Laden Is Dead: Na, na, na, na -- na, na, na, na -- hey, hey, hey, hey -- goodbye....

"A SLIP of the tongue by one of Osama bin Laden's top henchmen seems to have betrayed al-Qaeda's most potent secret: its charismatic leader is dead. The blunder was made by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who has confessed to being the operational mastermind behind the September 11 attacks. He made his mistake while disclosing many of the secrets behind the atrocities, which were plotted in Kandahar, the religious extremist Taleban movement's Afghan spiritual home.

...During two days of interviews, Mr Mohammed referred to bin Laden, who has not been seen since the fall of Afghanistan's Taleban regime, in the past tense. The reporter Yosri Fouda, London bureau chief for al-Jazeera, concluded that bin Laden is now likely to be dead. Mr Mohammed's slip of the tongue about bin Laden's demise was a serious lapse. Throughout their discussions with the reporter, al-Qaeda operatives persistently sought to suggest that their leader was still alive, well and keenly following events."

The last time we can confirm that Bin Laden was definitely alive? December, 2001 right before we bombed the holy hell out of the area he was in. Since then Osama dropped right off the map. This is just one more piece of evidence that suggests that he was blown into unidentifiable chunks at Tora Bora by a US bomb.

The Only Good Terrorist Is A Dead Terrorist

The Only Good Terrorist Is A Dead Terrorist: Israel is certainly holding up their end of the 'War on Terrorism'. About a week and a half ago we heard that the Israel had effectively eradicated the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in the West Bank...

Israel may have effectively wiped out the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The Israeli army this week arrested another two leaders of the PFLP terror group in the West Bank, according to the Jerusalem Post. A Palestinian Authority official said the Israeli crackdown on the PFLP has virtually destroyed the organization in the West Bank, though its cadres in the Gaza Strip remain intact. The PFLP's assassination of Israeli Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi last October, ostensibly in retaliation for Israel's assassination of PFLP leader Abu Ali Mustafa, marked the beginning of the end for the group, the official said. Since then they have been a constant target of army operations. "Their political and military leadership has been completely wiped out," the P.A. official told the Post. "In a way, you can say that Sharon has won the war against the PFLP."

This week, we're hearing that the Israelis may have done even more damage to Hamas...

"Israeli intelligence officials assert that 98 percent of the known members of the Hamas military wing have been arrested or killed over the past five months, leaving the terrorist organization in a state of disarray, Time magazine reported Monday.

...The magazine quotes the officials as saying that the Israeli military crackdown in the West Bank, which began in April after the suicide bombing on the first night of Pesach that killed 29 people at the Park Hotel in Netanya, has caused severe disruption to the group, making it "no longer possible for cells to organize across different areas."

Israel had better be careful or they're going to kill and lock-up so many terrorists that they'll break that "cycle of violence" the peace activists are so fond of talking about.

British Peace Activists To Serve As Human Shields For Baghdad

British Peace Activists To Serve As Human Shields For Baghdad: Someone call the Darwin Awards, there are idiot Brits flying out to Iraq to serve as human shields for Saddam...

"British peace protesters plan to go to Baghdad to act as voluntary "human shields" during a war against Iraq.

The activists, who have received President Saddam Hussein's blessing for the mission, want to try to deter attacks by "showing solidarity" with the Iraqi people and witnessing "their suffering".

They are willing to risk their lives in the hope that their presence at installations such as power stations might deter American and British bombing raids."

If we actually did avoid targets because these peace loonies were there (which hopefully we won't), it would not surprise me one bit to see Saddam kill a bunch of them and dump their corpses at some target we bombed in an effort to blame the US for their deaths. That would make for some tombstone wouldn't it?

Fact Checking The Fact-Checkers At Spinsanity

Fact Checking The Fact-Checkers At Spinsanity: Spinsanity wrote a questionable review of Sean Hannity's, "Let Freedom Ring" that reminded me of several left-wing critiques of Ann Coulter's, "Slander" that I've read lately. In these articles, the authors look at a fact or even an opinion from a book, merely cite different opinions or different interpretations of facts and then proclaim that the author is a liar. Then after doing some of what couldn't even loosely be called, "fact-checking" they proclaim that the book is full of untruths. Let's look at select sections of Spinsanity's poorly constructed review of Hannity's recent book and you'll see what I mean.

Quotes From The Animal Rights Movement

Quotes From The Animal Rights Movement: The animal rights movement portrays itself simply as a group of people who are concerned with the mistreatment of animals. That's an easy position to sell in America where a large portion of population has pets. However, there is an undercurrent of violence, extremist positions, and even anti-human views that runs through the animal rights movement. People who are giving their money to these groups need to understand that it may be used for a lot more than simply protecting "fuzzy bunnies" and "puppies." Read these quotes and you'll learn a little more about the animal rights movement than what some of these groups tell you in their commercials.....
